GARDENING CIRCLE
The Gardening Circle of the Opotiki Women's Instituta visited the gardens of Dr. H. Budd on Tuesday and spent a very pleasant afternoon inspecting the plantation of native trees. Dr. Budd showed the members of the circle around his small farm and the party later returned to the lawn and gardens. After afternoon fea, Mrs. J. T. Merry (presid'ent of the gardening circle) thanked^ Dr. Budd for the in-
teresting information and useful gardening hints they had received.
