NEGOTIATIONS FOR RESCUE OF CAPTURED BRITISHERS Shanghai, October 19. Two armoured trains left Newchang carrying British and Japanese offieials, proceeding- to Pansham, where it is hoped to establish contact ' with the bandits holding Mrs. Mixriel Pawley and Mr. Chaiies Corkran, who are held to x'ansoxn by their captors. Ilopes of rescuing them are gradually fading owing to inabxlity to make direct contact with the bandits.
