Obvious preparations for extensive renewed warfare in Manchuria by the Japanese are revealed by the latest despatches from Harbin and Darien, where feverish military activity is progressing. Wharves and railways are seething with soldiers and are crammed with military equipment. For the past few days, transports have been pouring men into Manchuria in thousands. Tension in the province of Jehol is increasing where it is believed that the Japanese next intend launching their campaign for the purpose of adding the. last piece of territory in Manchoukuo outside the Great Wall.
