WELLINGTON POSITION Wellington, Wednesday. The position at Ngahauranga and Petone was unchanged to-day. It is stated that no further trouble has been experienced and no difficulty is being found in local works. An assurance has been given that the city abattoirs would be able to maintain the supply for local requirements. The question of the attitude of the Freezing Workers' Union tow?,rd killing meat at abattoirs which ordinarily would be carried out by the companies for local consumption, has been raised consequent upon the allegation that several of the abattoirs employees have been approached on behalf of the union.
