The Daily Mail's Dublin correspondent says the Free State Government dramatically announced that it proposed to grant pensions to members of the Irish Republican Army, and other organisations which were declared illegal during the British regime. The Bill extends the benefit of pensions to men actually - seized in the Four Courts and other Dublin buildings in 1922, who participated in the I ensuing battles. The Bill recognises the Irish Republican Army, the Irish
| Volunteers, the Fianna Eirann, the Hibernian Rifies, thfc Comm;an-Na-Mban, any member of wiiich will be deemed to have seen "military service" if he or she has been arrested as the result of activities incidental to membership, or evaded eapture or pursuit by armed forces of the British Government, or the Government of Northern Ireland.
