PRICES AT MORRINSVILLE SHOW FIRMING TENDENCY Hamilton, Monday. The Farmers' Co-operative Auctioneering Company, Limited, report: — At Morrinsville sale on Friday a good yarding of sheep came forward, prices being slightly firmer than last sale. An extra heavy yarding of eattle came forward, ox beef being slightly easier, while fat cows fully maintained outside values. A good yarding of yearling heif ers sold readily at late quotations. There was a medium yarding of dairy cattle which met with fair competition. Pigs: — The largest yarding of pigs for the season came forward, there being 835 pigs penned. There were no prime heavy baconers yarded, but competition was good on all classes of fats and large stores. Good slips and weaners were also keenly sought after, but poorer sorts became dull towards the end of the sale. Practically all pigs yarded were sold at the hammer at satisfactory prices. Several outside buyers were. present, being in the market for large stores.
