ROTORUA TEAMS DEFEAT CAMBRIDGE DURING WEEK-END An inter-club golf match was played at Cambridge during the weekend when a team of members of the Rotorua Golf Club, consistmg of 22 men and 10 Iadies visited Cambridge. Men's f oursomes were played ovei'1 36 holes, the Rotorua team winning by 11 matches to 8. The ladies played a singles match in the morning which was won hy the visitors, fbur up and a foursomes match in the afternooii, which finished all square, Results were as follows, Canibridge names being mentioned first: — . Freeman and Fergugon defeated Barker and Fenton, 2 xip and lost 1 down. Law and Tod lost to Hay and Spedding, 2 down qnd all square. Entwistle and Boyce defeatbd Anderson and Young, 3 — 2 and lost 1 down. Westlake arid L. Haworth defeated French and Pakes, 5 — 4 and 6 — 4. Nickle and. Pearce lost to T. Kelly and A. Kusabs, 1 dowri and 3—2. _ J. Butler and J. Haworth defeateq Marshall and W. Kusabs, 1 up and 5—4. Hewett and Speer clefeated Wallia and Hamilton, 3—2 and lost 4 — 3. C. Haworth and Ward iost to Walden and Shalfoon, 1 down and won, 1 up. Cuhis and Veunell lost to Ancjerson and McElroy, 4—3 and all square.
