TROUBLE EXPERIENCED IN POYERTY BAY

Gisborne, Monday. Furth'er diffieulties were experienced on several sheep stations to-day when arrangements for commencing shearing had to be abandoned owing to the shearers' refusal to accept the rates offered. The trouble apparently is not spreading to the coastal districts, where seyeral gangs of shearers are mostly on a contract basis.
