London, Oct. 15. Major Hammond, a magistrate and acting churchwarden at Moiston (Norfolk), was fined £2 for assaulting the Rev. Harold Davidson,. thelate vicar of Stiffkey, who was . recently inhibited for conduct unseemly for a clergyman. Major Hammond admitted in court that Mr. Davidson went to him and demanded the keys of the church he kicked him downstairs.
