Timaru, Monday. The Ladies Golf Union Rosebowl, held hy Miss M. Stevens (Pupuke) was won by Miss O. Sxnith (Napier)
wxth a nett score oi 73, her nandxcap being 12. MrS. Lambert (Ashburton) was runner-up with 75, her handieap hexng i7. Miss G. Browne (Christchurch) was also 75, handieap 18; next in order were: Mrs. Russell Grace (Wanganui) 77; Miss E. Barton (Wellington) 77; and Miss L. Gates (Russley) 78. The trophy for the hesti gross score was won by Miss O. Kay (Otago) with a score of 81. Miss Kay also leads fpr the Mellsop Cup, which she has held sixxce 1926, with a total for the two rounds of 162. Mrs. Dodgshun (Otago) is second with 167. The finaf round of this competition will be played to-morrow.
