Messrs Dalgety and Company, Limited, report as follows on their monthly stock sale held in the Opotiki saleyards : — There was a full yarding of cattle and a small entry of sheep. Prices were on par with previous sale and practically a total clearance was effected. We quote: — Springing heifers, £4 5s to £6; springing cows to £6 5s; fat cows, £2 to £3; store cows, 18s to 33s 6d; 3year bulloclcs to £3; 2-year steers, to £2; yearling Jersey heifers to £2 5s; boner bulls, £1 to £2. Sheep: — M.S. hoggets, 8s to 10s lld. Pigs: — Weaners, 7s; slips, 14s to 17s 6d. Pedigree yearling Jersey bulls on account of Mr. W. J. Paul, of Toa Toa, lllgns. to 18|gns.
