King has approved that Mr. Stanley Baldwin (Lord President of the Council) shall be appointed Lord Privy Seal. Mr. Baldwin will combine both offices but hold the latter without salary. Approval of the Government's declaration of policy regarding the Ottawa agi'eements was unanimously expressed at the annual conference of British Chambers of Commerce now being held at Nottingham.
