HEAVY YARDING OF SHEEP AND CATTLE AT MATAMATA Matamata, Friday. The Farmers' Co-operative Auctioneering Company, Ltd., report: — At Matamata sale yesterday an extra heavy yarding of cattle and sheep came forward. Sheep. The yarding' consisted mainly of fat hoggets, these being sold at late quotations. Cattle: Fat cattle maintained last salo's values while store cattle of all classes sold readily. Dairy Cattle: The advertised herd of dairy heifcrs in full milk, on account oi' Mr. II. A. Mathioson, came forward in good condition and met with spirited bidding. A good demand existed for quality cows and springing heifers. Pigs. A good entry of pigs both fat and store, came forward. The fat pigs were of good quality, mostly baeoners, which met with a steady sale. Stores and weaners were in lceen demand and sold at increased rates.
