PRESSMAN RETURNS THANKS IN THE FEDERAL SENATE '
•By Telegraph — Copyright)
Canberra, Sept. 29. There was an unprecedented scene in the Senate when for the first time in the history of the august Chamber it was declared a public place. The occasion marked the retirement of Mr. W. M. Admans, who has heen the Hansard reporter since the inception Of fedel*ation. He completed his last turn and was subject to eulogistic references from members. The President of the Chamber Mr. Lynch, declared the Chamber a public place to enable Mr. Admans to reply.
