RETALIATION AGAINST JUDGE IN BANDIT CASE

Worcester, Mass. Sept. 27. Rec. Sept. 28, 7.0 p.m. The home of Judge Webster-Thayer the judge in tlre celebrated SaccoVanzetti case, was seriously homhed to-day. Judge Thayer escaped uninjured but his wife and servants are being treated in hospital for lacerations and shock. The structure was badly damaged. ' It is the assumption that the hombing was in retaliation. Governor Elcy ordered exhaustive invostigation.
