Wellington, Monday. At the annual meeting of the members of the Wellington Early Settlers' Association, a message was read from the Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. G. W. Forbes, stating: "I would like to take this opportunity of urging the people of the Dominion to continue to co-operate whole-heai'tedly in the efforts which are being made to overcome the depression and its attendant evils, and to meet with courage renewed from the example of the eaxdy settlers, the difficulties which are still before us. If they do this I am confident New Zealand will be one of the first countries to be restored to prosperity.
