London, Sept. 24. In welcoming the returning Rugby League footballers at Southampton, the secretary of the Northern Union Rugby League Football Association, Mr. Watson, answered the Sydney criticism about luring Australian players to England. He asserted that no player had been, or ever would be approached within 12 months after any tour. The agreement would be strictly kept.
