n.s.W. GOVERNMENT GIVES LICENSE TO SPORT

Rec. Sept. 25, 5.5 p.m. Sydney, Sept. 25. The New South Wales Government has given permission for greyhound racing to continue with night betting until further notice. The limit fof this sport has not yet been fixed. The temporary permission is hedged by a proviso that permission may be withdrawn any time. The revenue from this source is £80,000 a year.
