There was a ready sale for good forward heifers, buckward and inferior sorts also meeting with keene-r competition than at previous saies. Good quality cows were in keen demand. We quote: — Choice Jersey heifers, close to pi'ofit, £8 to £8 10s; backward heifers, it) to £7; inferior heifers, £3 to £4 15s; good dairy cows, £7 to £9 15s; backward soi'ts, £3 to £5 ; inferior cows, £1 5s to £2 10s.
