— By Telegraph — Copyright).
Hamilton, Monday. Commenting that hundreds of people who were confined to shops and offices and other indoor places of business, had no time or opportunity for recreation or sunshine except on Sunday, the Right Rev. A. C. Gherrington, Bishop of Waikato, made interesting comments on the much discussed hikers' trains, at St. Peter's Cathedral yesterday morning. Rightly these people should have their leisure hours outside and there was no reason he thought why advantage should not be taken of such outings, provided they did their duty to God apd the Church. He. said he was willing to arrange communion services. at any hour which would fit in with the arrangements for the day, thus allowing people who wished to tio so to get out and have the recreation they desired.
