ATTEMPTED DERAILMENT
Sydney, Sept, 19. An attempt was made to derail the Brisbane express last night, when a number of iron couplings were placed on the traclcs near the Muswellbrook station. The driver felt sharp bumps, but the train kept on the rails. Three men are held for questioning.
