FELT IN SYDNEY
Sydney, Sep. 16. The earthquake shock was recorded at the Sydney observatory. There were very small shocks just prior to midnight, local time. The latest shakes were much more severe, lasting over two hours. The origin was 1600 miles from Sydney, slightly east of the New Zealand coast.
