CHARGE OF ASSAULT
Robert John Irwin appeared before Mr. F. J. Short, J.P., on Wednesday, charged with assaulting Steven Shalfoon with intent to rob him of a sum of £165. He was remanded to appear before the S.M.'s Court of .Opotiki on September 21. Bail was al- ! lowed in two sums of £200, one in defendant's own recognisance, and one surety for a similar amount.
