FEATHER BOAS

The feather boa, so much talked about, but on the whole so little seen, made a triumphant appearance at the recent Royal Garden Party (writes a Londoner). Some of the smartest guests wore the boas to relieve the dark shades of hlue, brown, and red in preference to the flower garden frocks. The new boas rang the knell of the shoulder spray and flower necklets that were so decorative a feature of early summer fashion. Those guests who wore flowers had large sprays, composed of not less than three hlooms.
