Cure for Ragwort.

A formula for killing ragwort was given to the Rotorua County Council by the chairman, Mr H. P. Ford, at its meeting yesterday, when he said that as the result of his observations in the King Country he was satisfied that top-dressing with a mixture of lime and sodium chlorate was quite successful in eradieating the pest. It certainly seorched the grass in the first place, but the grass came away again, leaving the ragwort dead.
