OFFERTORY STOLEN
The vestry of St. Stephen's Church was broken into on Sunday afternoon , or evening and a sum of money tak- ! en. Entry was gained by forcing ■ tho door leading from the church to the vestry and the money was removed from a drawer in which it had i been placed . The exact amount takj en is not known, but it comprised j part of the offertory for that day. The j matter is now in the hands of the ' police..
