AN OLD SEDDON LIBERAL. .
To the Editor. Sir, — I think it is an opportune time for Rotorua to be represented on the Ministerial benches. Our member, who is one of the old Seddon Liberals, is quite a suitable man for Ministerial rank, and I feel sure he, with his past experience, would make a very suitable Minister for Public Works, and at the present time we want a live man at the head of that dep'artment. They say that comparisons are odious, and when you compare our member with some of these at present on the Ministerial benches, it does seem ridieulous that he should be put in the baekground. I think that every elector will admit that Mr. Clinlcard is a hard-working and capable representative, but probably his modesty has prevented him from coming forward. I think Rotorua should have the honour of a Minister, and hope that he may yet attain to that position. — I am. etc..
