-By Telegraph — Copyright).

Dunedin, Monday. Mr. A. K. Kimbell, the under-Sec-retary for Mines, during the course of a conference to-day with business men upon methods to be adopted to safeguard the mining industry, said that for the month of June, the export of gold from the Dominion, represented £100,000 in value. This was the largest amount in any one month of many years, and it represented over £1,000,000 for the year.
