TEACHER FAREWELLED

MISS L. E. M. HILL LEAVES ROTORUA FOR HQRSHAM DOWNS The staff of the Rotorua Primary Sehool gathered together on Monday to bid farewell to Miss L. E. M. Hill, who has been a member of the staff for the past eight years and has recently been transferred to the Horsham Downs Sehool. In presenting Miss Hill with a leather bag on behalf of himself and tho staff, the headmaster, Mr. B. M. Green, referred to the esteem with which she was held by all members of the teaching staff and the pupiis and said that her removal would undoubtedly be felt by the sehool. He congratulated her on her appointment to Horsham Downs and on behalf of the staff conveyed to her their best wishes. Miss Hill suitably replied and : thanked her fellow teachers for the | wonderful co-operation with which all i members of the ' staff had worked during her service at the sehool.
