MONDAY'S SCORES ROTORUA AGAIN DEFEATED IN POSTAL MATCH TEAMS' COMPETITION FIRED The usual weekly shoot of tbe Rotorua Miniature Rifle Club was held at the Drill Hall on Monday evening, a sealed handicap competition being fired. A large attendanee was present and after the . individual match, the three highest teams then fired off, resulting in a exciting finish, two* teams being equal with only one member to fire and the other three points behind. After the final scrutiny of the targets, the honour went to W. Winslade's team. Following are the scores of those who secured 60 or over off the rifle : W. Winslade, 69; G. Weir, 68; C. Watt, 68; E. Adolph, 66; W. Chambers, 66; W. Currie, 65; L. Dornbush, 65; J. McAlees, 63; H. Whitley, 63; W. Bates, 62; S. Walker, 61; W. Hollis, 61; J. Lee, 61; T. McElroy, 60. The following members over estimated their handicap: — W. Chambers, R. Norman, G. Weir, C. Watt, J. Lee. Trophy Winners Highest score off rifle, Mr. W. Winslade, 69; second highest, Mr. C. Watt, 68, and Mr. G. Weir, 68. Highest score with handicap: — Mr. W. Currie, 70; second highest, Mr. E. Adolph, 69; Mr. G. Bertram, 69; Mr. L. Dornbush, 69; and Mr. H. Hall 69. Teams Match Mr. W. Winslade's, first, 315; Mr. E. Adolph's, second, 307; and Mr. 'W. Bates, third, 302. Postal Match With Whangarei A postal match was fired against Whangarei during the past week.
