TRIBUTES FROM ALL N.Z. RUGBY BODIES TO B. P. PALMER

Auckland, Monday. Evidence of identification only was given at the inquest into the death of the All Black, Mr. B. P. Palmer, this morning. The inquest was then adjourned pending 'receipt of the medical report. Representatives of many Rugby clubs and other sports bodies attended the funeral, which took place at Otahuhu this afternoon. The pall bearers were Messrs. Solomon and Caughey, representing the All Blacks, Messrs. Righton and Lucas of the Ponsonby Club, Mr. Palmer's former club, and Messrs Pearson and Short representing the Otahuhu Club. Wreaths were sent from every Rughy Union in New Zealand . and every club in Auckland. Telegrams were received by the Auckland Rugby Union from every Union in the Dominion and from Mr. W. J. Wallace, manager of the 1932 All Blacks ip Australia and Mr. J. A. McLeod, manager of the 1929 All Blacks. The late Mr. Palmer was a member of these teams.
