The Rotorua friends of Mr. and Mrs. Don Lewis, of the post office, Reporoa, will be sorry to hear that their son Donald, is seriously ill with pneumonia in King Geoi'ge V. Hospital. Mr. E. Johnson, of Ranolf Street, has returned home after a week's absence in Hamilton. Mr. N. G. Armstrong, Mayor of Wanganui, and Mrs. Armstrong, are staying at the Geyser Hotel. Mr. Mason McCormick, of Hastings, Mr. I. Salek and Mr. P. R. Goodman, of Auckland, are at Brent's Bathgate House. Mrs. V. E, Wilkes and Miss D. Wilkes, of Northcote, are among the guests at the Denbies. Mr. E. Hennings, of Auckland, Mr. A. F. Woollams, of Wanganui, and Mr. J. Hamill, of Taihape, are staying at the Geyser Hotel. Mrs. P. Casey, and Miss Joy Casey, of Auckland, are staying at the Lake House Hotel. Mrs. 1"). M. Morgan, accompanied by her daughter, Miss Valerie Morgan, of Whangarei, is spending a holiday visit to Rotorua, and is at the Hotel Empire. Mr and Mrs. Richardson, of Wellington, Mr. C. McKean, of Auckland, and Mr. K. K. Wragge, of Hamilton, are among those at the Grand Hotel. Mr. and Mrs. C. G. Murray, of Wellington, are visiting Rotorua, and are at the Denbies. Mr. A. McShane, of Auckland, is a visitor at the Lake House Hotel. Mr. Hawkins and son, of Auckland, are staying at the Hotel Empire. Mr. M. M. Twigg, of Sydney, is at Brent's Bathgate House. Mr. W. H. Course, Mr. J. C'ourse, of Hamilton and Mr. C. Tipper, of Wellington, are among those at the Grand Hotel. Mr. P, G. Gray, of Dunedin, is at th© Denbies.
