Auckland, Saturday. While on his way to the track at Takanini this moiming the three-year-old gelding, Pillow Fight, by Night Raid from Week End, reeently purchased by Mr. R. A. McLean from the trustees of the estate of Mr. W. G. Stead, shied at a passing vehicle and strrking a culvert cut a hind fetlock, severing a small ai'tery. Dr. Ring, who attended the injury, stated it was not serious, though it is possible that the horse may have to forego his Avondale engagements.
