LONE WOLF POLICY
CANADIAN MINISTER OF TRADE HITS OUT Rec. Sept. 4, 5.5 p.m. Toronto, September 3. Declaiung that the Canadian manufacturers wex*e following a lone wolf policy in foreign trade, the Hon. H. H. Stevens, Minister of Trade, read a lecture at a gathering- of industrial interests. He said that manufacturers are leaning on the Government too much and are not making the most .of op-poi-tunities abroad, and products inferior to Canadian are being sold under their noses. If they cannot alford to maintain their own salesman abroad, they should undoubtedly act co-operatively.
