MRS. GORRINGE'S NECKLACE.
The afternoon members of the literary circle of the Women's Club met at the home of Miss Hazel Ford last Thursday afternoon to read that very light and delightful play, Mrs. Gorringe's Necklace. Throughout, the dialogue was witty and amusing and proved excellent material for reading. The hostess of the afternoon was wearing a frock of wine crepe de chine and the drawing-room was tastefully arranged with spring flowers and foliage. Present were: — Mrs. H. P. Ford, Mrs. H. H. Davis, Mrs. Stewart, Mrs. H. Bertram, Miss J. Pearce, Miss J. Benner (Papamoa), Miss G. La Trobe Hill, Miss J . Bertram and Miss J. Hodgson.
