DIET SNUBBED

GERMANY AND PRUSSIA Berlin, August 31. Herr von Pape-n's acting German Government severely snubbed the Prussian Diet by instructing all Prussian officials not to enter the chamber cloakrooms and lobbies unless specially authorised. Herr Branch, the Deputy Commis-sione-r of Prussia, and other leading Ministers, declined to appear in the Diet, intimating that Marshal Hindenburg, the President, had appoinl;ed them, and therefore they were- not responsible to the Diet.
