R. Tee, of Auckland, are at Brents Bathgate House. Mrs. Hope Gibhons and danghters, of Wellington, are among those at the Grand Hotel. Mr. F. Goodall, Mr. H. H. Small and Mr. H. M. Hill, of Auckland, are staying at the Palace Hotel. Mr. and Mrs. H. Whitcomhe and Miss N. Whitcomhe, of Auckland, are at Waiwera House. Mr. W. L. Hewitt, Mr. G. H. Luke and Mr. W. D. Roberts, of Auckland, are staying at Brents Bathgate House. Mrs. E. Rhodes and family. Mrs. Somerville, of Auckland, and Mrs. A. Harris, of Morrinsville, are among those at Waiwera House. Mr. and Mrs. G. E. Kay and Mr. W. J. Laird, of Auckland, are at Brents Bathgate House. Mr. C. W. S. Gee, the popular secretary of the Rotorua Golf Club. was unfortunate enough to sustaih a severe attack of sciatica yesterday morning and consequently was unahle to l take his place in the Veterans' Cup | field.

Mr. J. M. Edlington and Mr. D. C. Trevithiclc, of East Coast, are among those at Brents Bathgate House. Mr. E. feowen Clendon and Mr. Guy L. Shaw, of Thames, are paying a golfing- visit to Rotorua. Dr. E. B. Gunson, president of the^ Auckland Society of Arts, and Mr. Perkins, a Wellington artist, paid a visit yesterday to the Maori Arts and Crafts Worlcshop at Ohinemutu where they were shown the handicrafts hy the director, Mr. H. Hamilton. Mrs. Collett, recently a member of the teaching staff of the Rotorua Primary School, is at present spending a holiday in Rotorua as the guest of Mrs. Alexander, Whakaue Street. She returns to Otane on Priday next.
