DISASTROUS FIRE
HEAVY DAMAGE Rec. Aug. 29, 7.0 p.m. Sacremento, Calif., Aug. 28. A fire swept a section of tlie waterfront, cansing 600,000 dollars worth of damage. The fire was caused by an explosion on the river steamer, Twellee. The craft burned and drift-. ed down stream spreading the fire. No one was injurcd.
