MARINE COURT'S FINDING AFTER OFFICIAL INQUIRY

Melboiirne, August 24. The Marine Court inquiry investigating the foundering of the Casino found that the wreck was caused by the Casino fouling her anchor when near the jetty, causing her keel to be piereed. On July 11, ten lives were lost when the small coastal steamer Casino was wrecked about 300 yards from the shore in Apollo Bay. Page 5.
