Wellington, Wednesday. The death sentence on Frank Livermore for the murder of thq child Yera Foster at Upper Hutt, has been commuted to life imprisonment. Hon. J. G. Cobbe announced that the Executive Council had been actuated by the jury's strortg recommendation to mercy, which was confirmied by the Judge.
