Hamilton also had their turn on attack, "but E. Mitchell and K. The best players for Rotorua were Mattie Mitchell, M. Werahiko and T. Manarapa in the forwards, and T. Mitchell, E. Mitchell and K. Tekura in the backs. J. Chaytor was not as sound as usual and T. Wharekura did not display the finish which generally marks her play. ! L. Hepburn, V. Newall and A. Dempster were the best of the Waikato team.
