INTREPID BRITISH AIRMAN SET SEAL ON CAREER SCEPTICS CONFOUNDED Fears for the safety of the intrepid English airman, Mollison, were set at rest when a message from St. John (New Brunswick) conveyed the tidings that he had landed there at 12.50 p.m. on Friday. Mollison was fatigued through flying through fdg and trying conditions which made the crossing bad. Mollison's first thought was of his wife (nee Miss Amy Johnson), and he said "Tell her I have justified her confidence in me." By his feat, Mollison created four new aviation records and definitely estahlished his position amongst the world's greatest airmen.
