FATAL ACCIQENT MASTERTON MAN KILLED BY HIGH TENSION LIYE WIRE FATHER OF FIVE

Masterton, Sunday. While working on a new main at Waingawa Freezing Works on Saturday, an electrical enginaer, Cyril Harold August, aged 43 years, came in contact with a high tension wire and was electrocuted. Artificial respiration was applied for five hours, but without avail. Deceased, who servsd throughout the war, was a married man with fiv3 young children. He liad been employed at the works at i/tasterton for a number of years.
