Sydney, August 17. j Moxley was hanged at Long Bay ; Gaol at 8.30 this morning. He walk- i ed resolutely to the scaffold, but did ! not make any statement concerning j the crime for which he was executed. i William Moxley was convicted on June 16 of the murder of Frank Wilk- ■ inson, a compositor, and Dorothy Den- j zel, a beauty contest winner, at Liver- ! pool early in April. On both the lat- j ter being reported missing the police i instituted a ssarch and found the i body of Wilkinson near his car in i which he and the girl had been driv- ' ing. The girl's body was found some i distance away. Moxley was arrested as a suspect after an 'exciting chase.
