vlscotjnt halifax's vigour Despite his 93 years, Viscount Halifax delivered his presidential address at the 73rd anniversary of the English Ghurch Union at Church House, Westminster, as though he still ppssessed the vigour of the early '50's, and he was given a great reception. He conducted the preliminary business of the meeting With an ability that was remarkhale for his age. As he arranged his manuscript his only apology was that it was necessary for him to use an electric glowlamp for assistance in following his notes. He was re-elected presideht for ; the 51st year.
