LONDON, Tuesday. Captain Irving, the designer of the 'ate Sir H. Segrave's Golden' Arrow, backed by a group of fihanciers, is building a car of a guaranteed speed of 285 miles an hour, in which Captain Alastair Miller will attempt to break Sir M. Campbsll's 254 miles per hour record. Captain Miller says: — "I hope to poss 300 miles per hour. If the car is ready in February the sttempt will be made on Daytona, otherwise on the Ninety-Mile Beach in New Zealand."
