Roc. Aug. 16, 11 p.m. SYDNEY, Tuesday. Mechanical hare coursing in New South Wales will cease on September 30, as the Government has decided not to renew the licenses for the various courses after that date. It is also probable that there will be a curtailment of mid-week horse pony racing, the Government being of the opinion that there are too many facilities for gambling.
