WAIHOU SALE The Farmers' Co-operative Anctioneering Company, Limited, report having held their fortnightly sale at Waihou yesterday, when there was a small yarding of sheep and a large yarding of cattle. Prices were on a par with late rates. A heayy yarding of store pigs met with a good sale, I ruling rates being maintained i throug-hout. Only a small yarding of i fat pigs came forward. | Quotations : — j Fat wethers, 12/9; fat ewes, 8/6 to 10/4; fat hoggets, 6/8; fat steers £5/9/-; prime fat cows, £4/11/- to ( £5/8/-; fat heifers, £2/19/- to £3/16; j fat cows, *£3/10/- to £4/8/-; medium fat cows, £2/10/- to £3/5/-; killable I cows, 32/- to 38/-; forward-condit-ioned cows, £1 to £1/7/6; honer cows . 5/- to 14/-; 2-year Jersey heifers, ' empty, £2 to £2/7/6; 15 months steers, £1 to £1/10/-. i Pigs: Baconers, £1/11-; porkers, 1 18/- to £1/6/-; good store pigs, 15/6 to 18/6; slips, 12/- to 16/-; wean- ; ers, 8/- to 11/6; poor weaners, 4/I to 7/-.
