Rose Still Running.
Not much is heard nowadays of Randolph Rose, New Zealand's great distance runner, but he turns out regularly at the New Plymouth Harrier Cluh's welcely runs. Rose is keen to run in the national cross-country championship at Christchurch. He stat'ed last week that although he is not yet in racing form, he is satis- . fied with the improvement in his con-> dition. Rose has contested the national title on two occasions — in 1928, when he ran second to J. W. Savidan at Wanganui, and in 1930, when he was successful at Wellington. Rose is comp'eting in the Taranaki crosscountry championship to-xnorrow.
