-By Telegraph — Copyright)
WELLINGTON, Saturday. The Marine Department bas received full details of the wreckage washed up at Black Head, south of Napier, and from the description given does not believe it to be from the naissing launch Advance which was lost between Napier and Wanganui. There is a cabin top 10ft 7in long and 6ft 3in across, at one end tapering to a point and at the other painted blue. Inside it is blue over white, while outside it consists of ten planks each side of the centre planks set on nine crossribs. A small eopper benzine tank was found near the cabin top. Inquiries made of one of the crew also show that it is not from the launch Amai, which was wreeked off Tory Channel early in the year. The Department would welcome information that would identify the wreckag-e.
